All properties that have failed to receive a bid at the fall Upset Tax Sale will be exposed again at public auction at the Judicial Tax Sale. This sale is held in the spring of each year. The minimum starting bid is bureau costs. All properties are sold free and clear of all delinquent real estate taxes and municipal claims, mortgages, liens, charges and estates of whatsoever kind, with notification required by law except ground rents, separately taxed. The Monroe County Tax Claim Bureau offers these properties without any guarantee or warranty of any kind. No survey has been performed on any of the properties. You are strongly advised to seek advice and counsel of an attorney prior to bidding at any tax sale. 

Registration will start Monday,  April 15, 2024 and end Friday May 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM  Monday - Friday.

Registration MUST be in person, no emails, or faxes will be accepted in accordance with Act 33.

If you are registering as an LLC, Corporation or Sole Proprietorship you must provide paperwork that you are a registered business.

Nonrefundable preregistration is now a requirement for every Judicial Sale.

Nonrefundable preregistration Bidder fee of $25.00 is due at time of registration in money order or cashier's check.

The Tax Claim Bureau makes no representation nor offers any warranty on any property sold at any tax sale. You buy these properties at your own risk. No refund is given for any property sold at any tax sale, unless by court order. We urge you to consult an attorney before you purchase a property at tax sale.
