Job Requirements for Deputy Sheriff
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years previous experience in the field of criminal justice/law enforcement or have a valid certification card signifying your successful completion of the Municipal Police Training/Act 120
- Must have valid PA drivers license
- Must be 21 years old minimum, no age cut off
- Must be a US Citizen
Job Requirements for Courthouse Security
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year previous experience or training involving security or related field
- Must have valid PA drivers license
- Must be 21 years old minimum, no age cut off
- Must be a US Citizen
If you are offered and accept a position within the Sheriff's office you will be mandated to provide a Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse History Clearance (only complete the child abuse clearance for Deputy Sheriff position) at your cost prior to your hire date as a condition of employment.
