Phone Service Interruption Notice:

Monroe County Area Agency on Aging is currently experiencing technical difficulties with our phone system. Some calls may not be connecting properly at this time.  If you are unable to reach us by phone, either try again later, or email us at monroeaging@monroecountypa.gov

Unscheduled Closure: The soccer fields and walking track next to Monroe Correctional Facility are closed until further notice due to the well drilling project.

Telephone Usage Policy

  • Inmates may make phone calls but must have money on their books or must make billing  arrangements with Securus. To make billing arrangements call (800) 844-6591.
  • A 20 minute time limit per phone call.
  • A 20 minute collect call places within the Stroudsburg area cost approximately $3.55. Cost will be higher the further from the facility. Also, cost will be higher for calls placed outside of the 570 area code.
  • All inmates have been urged to advise their relatives and friends of the cost.
  • Video Visitations are also available. Please call Securus at (800) 844-6591 to get more information or to make arrangements for Video Visitation.  
  • Telephone calls or messages will not be accepted for inmates!
