Historical Documents

“ArchivEra is a management and portal system designed for easy access to information in the Archives Department. It is a fully Web-based system that allows Archives to easily offer the public access to different collections of data and provide more in-depth documentation about each object or artifact. In simple terms, the software is similar to a library cataloging system, where you type in keywords and the corresponding documents will appear. With over 1,000,000 documents in our Archives, some processed and some not, this software is crucial to our county because it eases the process of personal information requests, as well as categorizing each document digitally. With the help of this software, our Archives department can be organized and easily accessible. ArchivEra delivers finding aid generation, email integration for automated research request database creation, and an integrated portal to inform, educate and delight virtual visitors.”Click on a link below to access all the historical documents available for research.
