CodeRed

The Monroe County Office of Emergency Management presents the CodeRED Emergency Alert System, which is a free service to you by Monroe County and the Northeast Pennsylvania Counter Terrorism Task Force.

When you register for CodeRED you will receive emergency alerts including, Amber Alerts, road closures, and weather warnings.

To sign up for CodeRed, click on the CodeRed logo below.

Residents can download the CodeRED app onto their mobile devices. Emergency messages can then be sent to your device through push notifications, enabling you to be aware of pertinent information for Monroe County or anywhere you travel that uses CodeRED.

If you choose to receive weather warnings through the app, you will be charged an annual fee of $.99 by ECNetwork, parent company of CodeRED.
